Elaboration of a Study on the Theme of Professional Training
Elaboration of a study supported by the Hans-Böckler-Foundation on the topic “Professional training in times of sector-related unemployment in the painter and varnisher craft: chances and new paths”. The aim of the project was the generation of a concept, through which journeymen/craftsmen in branch-related periods of unemployment could gain further qualifications.
Within sector-related unemployment two different aspects have to be understood. One aspect is the winter unemployment and the other aspect is the unemployment after the apprenticeship. Both phenomena are frequent in the painter and varnisher craft. The purpose of the project is to invite unemployed journeyman and craftsmen to use the time actively through professional training.

Development of a Future-Oriented Structure and Process Organization
The development of a future-oriented organization of structures and processes for a waste cogeneration power station becomes possible through the participation of the management, employees and other experts. For this purpose a catalog of measures has been created and its implementation guaranteed through the concrete specification of the responsible persons and of the necessary milestones.

Restructuring of a Union Recreational Center
Starting with a business analysis, we deduce a number of measures to develop and execute target-oriented human resources development and personnel leadership concepts. The selected executives and employees are trained among other things in:
  • discussions between employer and employee,
  • the mediation of abilities to "lead with goals",
  • individual motivation profiling with selected employees,
  • the creation of guidelines for personnel management and motivation of human resources.
